We Read Together

What if everyone read the same book?

We Read Together is an online book group, nurturing conversation and community around great Orthodox Christian books.

We Read Together will take place in May, the month following Pascha. In the future we may read books together during other seasons as well.

The goal is to encourage one another to explore important Orthodox Christian spiritual literature, thereby fostering conversation and mutual support for one another in our efforts to draw closer to Christ.

Using Modern Tools to Foster Old-Fashioned Community

We Read Together is about connecting and growing in our faith. To that end, we have designed the program to include a downloadable study guide and four live weekly discussions, offered via Zoom video conferencing. The live discussions will be moderated by Dr. Eve Tibbs, Director of Religious Education for the Metropolis of San Francisco and Professor of Theology at Fuller Seminary.

The weekly discussions will take place Thursday evenings, 7 – 8:30 p.m. on May 3, 10, 17 and 24. Click to join: https://goarch.zoom.us/j/881663826

Meanwhile we encourage you to get a group of local friends together to read with you. This event gives you a focused time period and a finite page number goal–take advantage of this and join us!

Sign up to receive We Read Together updates, reminders, Study Guide and links to the recorded sessions.

Sessions will be recorded and shared with registered members of the book group. They will not be available for public download. To receive the recorded sessions, sign-up.
