An evangelism team is a group of parishioners who come together regularly with the goal of spreading the Orthodox faith within their local community. The purpose of the evangelism team is to create opportunities for parishioners to collaborate in prayer and action, fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission to “go and make disciples of all nations.”

Evangelism teams focus on educating fellow parishioners about the role of evangelism in the Orthodox context, building meaningful relationships with others, and sharing the Gospel. These teams provide structure and support for a parish to actively engage with its community, serving as ambassadors of the faith and helping reintegrate evangelism into parish life.
