Evangelism Season

On March 11th, the Missions and Evangelism Ministry hosted an online presentation, “How to Start an Evangelism Season at Your Parish.”

What is an “Evangelism Season”?

The Evangelism Season is a designated time that starts with Pentecost and ends at the beginning of the Nativity Fast, aimed at extending the church’s reach beyond its walls to the local community. During this time, parishes and individuals are encouraged to engage in creative and practical efforts to connect with those unfamiliar with their faith. Actions range from small gestures to significant initiatives, all underpinned by a community and individual commitment to evangelism and prayer.

By the end of the presentation, you will learn the foundation and structure of an Evangelism Season and will be equipped with downloadable tools to start an Evangelism Season at your parish!
